Intercultural Engagement

In a diverse and increasingly globalized world, it is crucial for students to engage with people who do not look like them, talk like them, or think like them. Understanding how other people live and how other parts of the world are governed is paramount to a student's development as they prepare for life outside of college. Some examples of development in the intercultural experiences competency may be second language acquisition, study abroad trips, social justice activism, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
